Each year in Vietnam, 1 out of 100 children are born with congenital heart defects.

Most of these children come from extremely poor families who earn less than $30 per month. They cannot afford the proper treatment or surgery for their child.

There are more 10,000 children suffering from heart disease and desperately need the cardiac surgery that will give them the chance at a normal life. Most will die waiting.
