Poverty is a vicious cycle that is difficult for anyone to break, and that’s especially true for children—the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Vietnam. At VCF we are committed to helping those who cannot help themselves, so that they may someday stand on their own feet and take advantage of all the opportunities provided by Vietnam’s bright future. We aim to achieve this goal and realize our mission by:

• Building capacity in the health care system of Vietnam, especially with regards to pediatric care and cardiac care
• Improving healthcare outcomes and access for the poor, especially children with heart disease
• Advocating and providing financial relief for poor families in Vietnam with a child with a catastrophic illness
• Encouraging, modeling, and endorsing best practices in management and provide opportunities for excellent management education in Vietnam
• Supporting and promoting individual philanthropy and corporate social responsibility in Vietnam
